Froggy
Froggy came to Coldwater Library on July 16th. Sara McFarland from SWKLS read several stories and then Froggy made an appearance. Hagen McMoran and Jared Moore won a stuffed frog. Everyone received a balloon and a frog sticker. Approximately 30 children and adults attended the program. Thanks to everyone who participated! Some children have asked about Froggy. Froggy is trying to stay cool is his very own pond and is thinking about what he learned from the children this summer.
Library Event
Joanne Emerick, Kansas historian and author will present a book talk at Coldwater Library on her recently published book “Courage Before Every Danger Honor Before All Men” The date is Saturday August 28th at 2:00 p.m. The book is the story of the 31st Bombardment Squadron during World War ll. Emerick has an interest in the 31st Bombardment Squadron because her late father, Wendell Pfannenstiel served overseas 36 months as a medical corpsman with the 31st Squadron. Books will be available for purchase and autographed by the author.
